Customer Review - How the Shark Dog Toy Became These Super Chewer’s New Favorite
Share
As a dog owner of a notoriously aggressive chewer, finding the right toy felt like an endless struggle. Customers gave the Shark Dog Toy a shot and this is what they had to say -
1. Stephane Durand - Perfect for our Cavalier
"Was looking for a way to help with the tooth cleaning of our Cavalier. We've never really been able to use a brush or our fingers to give his teeth a cleaning.
This little guy, apart from being a sturdy shark looking toy for our medium size dog, has tons of nooks and crannies to either add some peanut butter for instant treat and fun or better yet, add some toothpaste for some self cleaning play.
We are currently looking for a decent and accepted toothpaste for our buddy, since he can be quite picky. So far, we've found one, where he is at least getting close to it and giving it a bite or two.
We feel this toy will be a long lasting one as it is quite thick. Squeaker is also just right for our dog size, as it does not squeak each times he chews on it. Of course, this may actually be a little different with a larger breed but for a medium size dog, this seems to do the trick."

Our land shark approves
"Our land shark approves! We've gone through MANY chew toys for aggressive chewers. From the first squeak, our 1 yr old mini Aussie was eager to put this shark to the test. So far, AWESOME. He's able to gnaw on it and has yet to do any real damage. The natural rubber is gentle on his teeth and easily washable...two important factors. The variety of textures keep his interest. Spreading a soft treat (or even his toothpaste) in the shark's teeth guaranteed his full attention for at least 10 minutes. The squeaker is under the top fin. It requires a firm bite to engage and get a squeak"
3. HCD : Very much approved by Dennis the Golden Retriever!
"A dog toy that certainly embodies the definition of tough! It’s made of such a sturdy rubber and includes a bunch of unique crevices and designs that make it interesting for the dog while chewing and playing.
The squeaker is located in the back area just before the tail. It’s quite stiff to press if you are testing it by hand! My bestie’s golden retriever, Dennis, only managed to squeak it two or three times in an afternoon. He loveddd the toy immediately! He literally just carried it around with him most of the day, and when he was laying on the floor, he would casually “boop” it. He brought it outside with him as well.
This shark toy is easy to clean, and the enclosed small brush comes in handy if it gets lodged with debris. I would not hesitate to get this toy for your pup!"

Good chew toy
"This is a solid, well-constructed chew toy that will keep your dog busy. It's about the size of a very large banana, and it is made of solid but soft plastic/silicone.
My dog loves the squeak of it, and we can spend a good deal of time the back yard playing fetch. He enjoys gnawing on it on the living room floor. It keeps him happy, and if he's happy I'm happy.
I am satisfied with this product."

Durable toy
"Our 16lb isn’t the most aggressive of chewers but we got this toy hoping he would enjoy chewing on it to help with dental hygiene. It is a very sturdy chew toy. He has a tough time making it squeak while chewing but it does squeak for us when thrown around. There are lots of places you can add either peanut butter or some enzymatic toothpaste to keep them interested or help with plaque. It’s easy to clean after. Has held up well for us so far!"

Durable and Engaging Toy for Aggressive Chewers ( Coupon available / rebate offered:)
" The toy's design helps clean my dog teeth effectively, and it has numerous crevices perfect for adding toothpaste or peanut butter, making it both functional and fun.
From the moment I unpacked it, my dog was eager to play with it, displaying behavior I haven't seen in a long time. The toy's high-pitched squeak is particularly engaging. It keeps my dog entertained for extended periods, even insisting on carrying it during walks.
The toy is made from sturdy rubber, which has proven to be durable even with aggressive chewing. It comes with a small brush to clean the toy's crevices, ensuring it stays hygienic. The size is just right for medium to large dogs, providing a good balance between being chewable and resilient."
